We needed to identify or create a lesson that aligns with a Smart Board or whiteboard. We were to use the instructional template to complete a lesson that aligns with standards.
Being that I have a SMARTboard in my classroom I was excited to learn more about the many interactive sites and activities available. After looking through many of the sites provided by our instructor, I couldn't wait to incorporate some of the activities into my lesson plans. For this lesson, however, I decided to use an assignment I developed in the beginning of this class. I had made an interactive power point for my students to use. As we wrapped up the math unit I decided to pull this review assignment up on the smart board. My students got to interact on the board while reviewing for their unit test. They loved being able to come up and use the SMARTboard and they had to be paying attention, if they were going to get their turn. I was so excited to see how much they enjoyed this. I am trying to find the time to create more review games for them.
